.In Romans 12:14 the Bible tells us to “bless those who persecute you. You heard it right.
The word “bless”( (euloge?) means “speak well” of even though they treat us spitefully, disrespectfully or hatefully we must bless them or speak well of them and about them.
“Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing” (1 Peter 3:9).
“Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: and be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you” (Ephes. 4:31-32).
When you find someone who is a pain in the neck and who is beating you down, be a blessing to them and the Lord will bless you. Remember, you always reap what you sow!
