The Truth Shall Make You Free…

If i had more money….

Many people today look at freedom by first looking at their money or material possessions. How many times have you heard that if i had more money i could do what i wanted to do when i wanted to do it. Well dear friends that is a very slippery slope for man’s problem does not begin with financial freedom but freedom from sin.

In John 8:32-33  the Lord Jesus Christ said:

John 8:31-32 (KJV)
31 Then sahid Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
The truth shall make you free. The question we must ask ourselves is free from what. Well if i am free from want or need it really don’t set me free because if it takes a certain amount of income to “feel free” then my emotions or fear control my reality more then the facts.

The truth of the matter is that we are not made to live and think independently of God or in other words to be like God. Without God we are driven by the lusts and needs of our physical bodies and i believe that without God we don’t have a fool proof way to find out what we really need to be free.

The Lord Jesus Christ’s Truth Frees Indeed..

When we become a Christians we are set free from the domination of sin(lusts that destroy our body and soul via addiction) Yes  you heard it correctly, sin is addictive because what and who ever we obey we become slaves to it) . Now everyone i know don’t want to go to hell and some folk to deal with the reality of hell claim it’s a fantasy invented by men.

The Lord Jesus Christ’s frees us from hell on earth…

As we approach the 4th of July and all the fireworks,cookouts, trips to the sea shore and other fun filled activities there are some people who are dealing with grief, the lost of a love one. It could have been a sister, brother, mother or father. It may have been a dear friend. These are emotional states that are like “hell on earth”. These prisons of grief are standing ready silently for their next prisoner. I have spent time in these emotional hell holes and the only Person who would and could set me free was the Lord Jesus Christ.

When my mother past in Dec 2011, i was in “hell” for about 4 months. It was the first time in my life that my heart actually ached. But God….need i say more. Many are struggling on the internet to earn more money but all the money in the world  can never set you free from a prison of grief. To God Be The Glory Forever and Ever!  For He has set me free! Thank God Almighty, He has set me free indeed!

Kingdom Man
