One of the things fhat makes life worth living is being happy. The constitution of the USA gives people the right to pursue “happiness”. In the pursuit of this idea or our sociaity concept has left many discourage, depressed and sometimes suicidal because they have never found it.

In the Psalms 1:1-3 the formula or recipe is given by the idendtiy of this “happy ideal”. Let us look at the text together.Psalm 1:1-3 (NASB)
1How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers!

2  But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night.
3  He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season And its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers.

Notice in v1, there is the state of life that everyone is seeking on the planet. A state which i am a “happy person” . Contrary to popular opinion is that this person ethic group, employement, kind of friends he had or who disliked him, he was in a “happy state. It appears that being happy is a choice. If it is a choice no matter how “dark and stormy life that i am expericing at the present time, i can change my tomorrow by the choice i make today.

Here are are the points that you can study for your own situation.

I. The Happy Man’s Path Is Godly (v1)

II. The Happy Man’s Passion Is The Word Of God (v2)

III. The Happy Man’s Prosperity Is Secure (3)

In this simple outline of the text, if a person will make the choices of a godliness and holiness it will lead to happiness. Read the words of the Lord Jesus Christ below.

John 10:10 (NASB)
10  The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have Uit abundantly.
