Christian Living- Over Coming Dismay In Life

I am in the process of learning how to overcome dismay. Dismay appears to be composed of amazement of a specific circumstance and at the same time fearfulness becomes a constant companion. I was introduced to dismay on a cellular level when my Father passed away and kept getting reintroduced whenever family and friends and people I knew passed away.

When my sister Jennifer passed away on Feb. 20,2013 my old unwelcome visitor came again knocking at the door of my heart, but this time I was ready. I would not allow him to intrude into my life and bring it to a halt putting me on lock down in his pity party.

I had made a promise to my sister that I would live each day to the best of my God given ability and share my successes with others daily. You see I am gifted by God to write, teach and preach His manifold wisdom to others on this planet while I am here.

I have also re-discovered that what people strive for most is money and money in and of itself does not provide security. The most important thing you can do as a human being is to share and bless others with what you do best. Live in the purpose that God created you.

That is the secret of overcoming display. You must do what no one else on the planet can do. Just do you every day to the glory of God and your love ones who have passed on and for those who have been unborn. When you live in God’s purpose, you are a success because you have a purpose

Romans 8:28 (KJV)
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose
