Luke 12:1-3 (NIV)
1 Meanwhile, when a crowd of many thousands had gathered, so that they were trampling on one another, Jesus began to speak first to his disciples, saying: “Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.
2 There is nothing concealed that will not be revealed or that will be hidden and will not be made known.
3 What you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed from the roofs.
Luke 12:1 (WuestNT)
1 In these circumstances, many thousands of the people having gathered together in one place so that they trampled one another under foot, He began to be saying to His disciples first, Be constantly on your guard against the yeast which is of such a nature as to be in character the acting of a player on the stage assuming a role of that which he is not, the yeast of the Pharisees. Moreover, there is not even one thing which has been completely covered up with the result that it is in a state of concealment which shall not be uncovered, and hidden which shall not be made known, because as many things as in the darkness you spoke, in the light shall be heard. And that which to the ear you spoke in the secret and well-guarded places, shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.
There is a attempt by satanic forces to destroy those congregations of the Lord that teach the whole counsel of God (Acts 20:27) using the Scriptures as instruments of division by taking a single Biblical verse and twist it to justify their hypocrisy. There are horrific instances where congregations are being torn apart by modern day Pharisees who have never served the Lord’s church in any capacity. Instead of becoming “servants” of the Lord they have become criticizers of the servants”.
I have attempted to present for your inspection a means of finding out the truth of the text using the expanded Greek text in the Wuest translation. This will help one to established Divine boundaries to prevent the Americanizing of what the inspired Word of God teaches. The Wuest translation will expand the Biblical text taking in account of the context that the Greek words are found.
Modern day Pharisees will rip Bible verses out of the text and use it to “go beyond” what is written in the Word of God by Americanizing the context to justify a doctrine or position. They are very passionate about what they “believe” to be true.
The Lord Jesus Christ warned his disciples about the “hypocrisy” of the Pharisees. They just “bad actors” used by Satan to discourage those engaged in “good works” by working them over with criticism to appease a “dead conscience”.
